Goodman Campbell started way back in 1972, with the incorporation of the Indianapolis Neurosurgical Group established by Drs. Julius Goodman and John Russell.
Since then, weâve pioneered new techniques in Indiana, such as the first microscopic discectomy, the first intracranial tumor embolization, and the first endoscopic placement of a VP shunt.
Weâve transformed ourselves by adding new disciplinesâlike interventional stroke care, minimally-invasive spinal surgery, interventional pain management, physical therapy, research, and education. Weâve steadily grown both our practice and our reputation, and weâve never once looked back.
That is, until now.
This year, Goodman Campbell is turning 50 years old. Reaching that milestone has made us pause and reflect on our first half-centuryâand we could use your help documenting it.
If youâve got photos, weâd love to see them. If youâve got cards or notes, weâll be glad to read them. If you have recordings, weâd be thrilled to hear them. If youâve got videos, we canât wait to watch them. Basically, if youâve got anything at all that will help us expand our historical archives, weâll be grateful for your assistance.
Visit our 50th Anniversary page now to submit your digitized photos or videosâor just to type in a favorite memory.
Donât have access to a scanner? Weâre still interested in what you have to share. Give us a call at 317.396.1300, and weâll do what we can to make your Goodman Campbell memories last forever.
