Dr. Gibson was born in the Ivory Coast, West Africa to missionary parents and raised in Birmingham, AL. His mother inspired him to go to medical school after achieving her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor at the age of 50. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia where he studied Comparative Literature, graduating with high honors. Dr. Gibson attended medical school at Yale, and residency at Dartmouth. Through Washington University in St. Louis, he completed fellowships in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. Since 2016, he has worked with Ascension in Milwaukee, WI but is now relocating to Indianapolis with his family to join the Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine (GCBS) team!
Dr. Gibson stated, “I couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to join what I believe is the best independent group in the country.” Previously, he worked closely with both Drs. Mobasser and Sahlein and was always been impressed with the culture and commitment to excellence that embodies Goodman Campbell. In a time of rapid change in healthcare, “I believe that groups like GCBS will not only survive but thrive.”
Dr. Gibson, his wife, and 3 children love adventure travel (favorite location being South Island of New Zealand), skiing (especially Jackson Hole), and playing golf.
Dr. Gibson will be seeing patients alongside Drs. Krishna Amuluru, Andrew DeNardo, and Daniel Sahlein at:
