Dr. Page was raised in Kentucky and received his undergraduate degree from Cedarville University. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Louisville with an additional distinction in clinical research. He went on to complete his residency in neurological surgery at the University of Wisconsin, and completed a combined orthopedic and neurosurgical AO-Spine and CAST accredited fellowship in complex spine surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He shares that his father was a nurse, and hearing stories of how medical professionals changed patients’ lives sparked his interest in medicine at an early age. “It wasnât until medical school I discovered the field of neurosurgery. Understanding how knowledge of the nervous system coupled with surgical techniques could improve patientsâ lives, led me to pursue neurosurgery.”
Dr. Page focuses his practice on the treatment of all areas of the spine utilizing both traditional and minimally invasive techniques. Along with receiving numerous awards and memberships, he has authored over fifty peer reviewed publications about neurosurgical topics and as well as numerous textbook chapters and presentations. He states, “Neurosurgery is an exciting and ever evolving field. Through advancements in clinical research and technology, our surgeries are becoming less invasive than ever before. This leads to shorter recovery times allowing patients to get back to their lives faster.”
When asked why he chose to practice at Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine he states, “I chose to join Goodman Campbell because of its reputation for clinical and academic excellence. Being from the Midwest, Goodman Campbell provides an opportunity for me to bring world class care to the part of the country I consider my home. I am looking forward to adding to an already robust practice in minimally invasive spine surgery, adult deformity surgery, and spine trauma.”
“Though I am not from Indiana originally, I was raised in Kentucky and have spent my entire life in the Midwest. Despite having many opportunities to leave the Midwest, I have always chosen to stay because I love the patient population.”
Most of Dr. Page’s time away from work is spent with his wife of 10 years and two small children. They enjoy exploring the local parks and all that Indianapolis has to offer.
Dr. Page will split his time seeing patients at our Avon and Terre Haute office locations.
