The Neurosurgery Foundation at Goodman Campbell
The Neurosurgery Foundation at Goodman Campbell provides the means to achieve our mission of caring for patients in an environment of healing, teaching and discovery. When we are not caring for our patients, we invest in our mission through:
• Clinical trials and basic research into advance treatment options
• Publications sharing our expertise in peer-reviewed journals
• Neurosurgical outcomes registry participation to improve healing
• Advanced medical education to help train experts
• Support groups to provide continued care for our patients and their families
Brain Bolt 5K
Traumatic brain injury is a leading cause of death and disability among children, adolescents and seniors in the U.S.—affecting more than 1.5 million people annually. In Indiana, the immediate, life-saving efforts of neurotrauma teams provide injured patients their best chance of survival and recovery.
Brain Bolt 5K is a family-friendly 5K walk/race that celebrates survivors of traumatic brain and spine injury with our patients, community and sponsors. The event features musical entertainment, local food trucks and activities for kids. Each year we anticipate hundreds of race participants and family members in attendance.
